Do I need to speak the language of the host country I'm studying/interning in?
While we always encourage students to learn some basic words and phrases, the majority of CIS Abroad programs do not require that you speak the host language. With many courses taught in English and specifically for study abroad students, you can be successful studying in a non-English speaking country. Specific classes or internship placements might require some experience in the language and you can find these specifications on the program page.
