How do I receive credit for my CIS Abroad program?

CIS Abroad's study programs are fully accredited and hosted by some of the best institutions in the world. CIS Abroad study programs either carry a transcript from the host institution, accredited in that country, or a transcript from a fully accredited U.S. institution. If a student's home institution requires a U.S. transcript, they have the option of using our School of Record, Jacksonville University, to transfer credits for an additional fee through the Fall 2026 term.

Beginning Spring 2027, the University of New Haven (UNH) will serve as the official School of Record for eligible programs requiring a U.S. transcript, replacing Jacksonville University (JU).
