Is there any wiggle room on GPA requirements?

Students who fall slightly below the GPA requirement will be asked to complete a Low GPA Statement explaining their situation and how they are prepared to handle the academic and cultural challenges of studying abroad. They may also be asked to submit two academic references depending on the requirements of the host institution. CIS Abroad cannot guarantee acceptance on a given program, but sometimes exceptions are allowed depending on the decision of the host university.
