Make an appointment to discuss your upcoming travel with a travel clinic or your primary care doctor. Ask any questions that arise about medication, immunizations, and general health tips for being in a foreign country. None of our programs require immunizations before arriving in the country, but it's good to be aware of possibilities, and some may be strongly recommended. For more information about immunizations please check the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Traveler's Health website. Under "For Travelers" choose your destination and select the option for "Extended Stay/Study Abroad" to get the most up-to-date recommendations for immunizations and vaccines.
